Charles Colburn

Charles Junior Colburn, 66, of Moulton passed away Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at Huntsville Hospital. Visitation will be from 6 till 8 p.m. on Friday, December 21, 2018 at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, December 22, 2018 at the funeral home with Landon Proctor, Ryan Wilburn and Dennis Shadix officiating. Burial will be in Tharptown Friendship Holiness Church Cemetery.

A member of Powell’s Chapel Church, Junior worked as a master plumber with Vest Plumbing. He enjoyed spending time with his family, playing guitar and singing for the Lord. He will live on through the strength, love and memories of all who knew him. Junior was an inspiration to us all!

Survivors include his children, Chasity Colburn Glover (Andy), Jamie Colburn (Jessica), Jesse Colburn, and Jeri Colburn Alverson (Johnathon); 13 grandchildren, Angel, Dewayne, Taylor, Lexi, Jordan, Peyton, Tanner, Bella, Rage, Chloe, Rosie, Haiven, and Bryson; 3 great-grandchildren, Roman, Addie and Jaxton; brother, O’Neal Colburn; sisters, Elizabeth Terry, Frances Roberts, and Kathey Wilburn; and 11 nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Lorene Colburn; sister, Janice Harville; and grandson, Devin Blake Colburn.

Pallbearers will be Dewayne Blevins, Jordan Miller, Peyton Colburn, Tanner Colburn, Johnathon Alverson, Blake Ledlow and Lonnie Wilburn.

The family extends special thanks to the doctors and nurses at Huntsville Hospital and Palliative Care for their patience and care for Junior (aka Charles Colburn 10, 14, 52) and his family.
