Edith Terry

Edith Faye Terry, 75, of Moulton passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, January 16, 2020. Visitation will be from 12 till 2 p.m. on Sunday, January 19, 2020 at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. with Bro. Charles Maples officiating. Burial will be in the Felix Terry Family Cemetery.

Born on January 17, 1944 to the late Riley and Annie Lou Anderton Terry, Edith Faye attended Mountain Home Baptist Church for several years. She enjoyed playing checkers, listening to gospel music, and spending time with her family, especially her nieces and nephews.

Survivors include her sisters, Betty Bobo of Summerfield, Florida and Mattie Nell Hale (Donald) of Moulton; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Edith Faye was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers and three sisters.

Pallbearers will be John Simmons, Heath Davis, Prentis Davis, Eddie Hale, Cody Hale, Chad Melson, Sam Melson, and Byron McKelvey. Honorary pallbearers are Tony Lovett, Tim Grimes, Steve White and Mike Letson.

The family extends special thanks to Dr. Charles Coffey, Dr. Robert Hall, the staffs of Decatur Morgan Hospital and Compassus Hospice, and especially to Danielle Littleton and Amanda Latham.
