Albert Huston, Sr.

Albert “Half Pint” “Deke” Huston, Sr., 67, of Town Creek passed away Saturday, October 15, 2016 at his home after a lengthy battle with cancer. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. on Monday, October 17, 2016 at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home with Billy Jackson officiating. Burial will be in Ferguson Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Dorothy Huston; children, Michael Nolen (Regina), Albert Huston, Jr. (Tracie), and Kelley Huston; grandchildren, Brittany Nolen, Cody Huston, Andrew Huston, Destiny Tanksley and Madison Tanksley; great-grandchildren, Zane Clemson, Brayson Dobbins, and Harley Dobbins; sisters, Jett Ramey, Treva Mears and Toni “LeeLee” Nolen; brother, Lewis “Bootsie” Cook; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Theodore Huston; mother, Rose Cook; step father, Lewis Cook; son, Shane Huston; brothers, “Chuck” Huston and “Bubba” Cook; and nephew, “JoJo” Bean.
Pallbearers will be Joey Cook, Donald Mears, George “BJ” Cook, Kevin Bean, Patrick Ricketts, Chad Nolen, Chuckie Mears and Joey Dover. Honorary pallbearers will be his nephews.
