Alice Hollimon

Alice J. Hollimon, 83 of Moulton passed away Tuesday, October 27, 2020 at her daughter’s residence. A graveside service will be held on Sunday, November 1, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Moulton Memory Gardens, with Bro. O.D. Bowling officiating and Bill Terry, soloist. Burial will be in Moulton Memory Gardens.

Mrs. Hollimon graduated from Willeston High School in Gaffney, South Carolina. She met the love of her life, Therman Hollimon in 1953 and then married January 11, 1954, after dating three months. They traveled for about five years then settled in Moulton and had their daughter, Lisa. They were married for over fifty years. She carried many titles, Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother and Friend.

Survivors include her daughter; Lisa H. Hollis (Benny), two grandsons; Ben R. Hollis (Moranda) and Bart C. Hollis (Kayla), four great grandsons; Bryson Hollis, Breckin Hollis, Bo Hollis and Brexton Hollis,

and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband; Therman Hollimon, her parents; Graham Edward and Alice Sparks Jolly and four sisters; Eddie Romeo (Fritz), Doris Jolly, Nida Bell (Bud) and Dell Smith (Wilson).

The family extends special thanks to Southeast Hospice of Jasper; Lorna, Leigh, Emma, Rhonda and Angie, Moulton Church of Christ, Jerry and Nida Purser and our children and grandchildren.
