Anderson Cross

Anderson Cross, 89, of Courtland passed away Monday, March 11, 2019 at NHC of Moulton. Visitation will be from 12 till 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 16, 2019 at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. in the chapel with Steve Kelso officiating. Burial will be in East Lawrence Memory Gardens.

Andy was retired from Allied Paper Mill and he enjoyed playing guitar, especially with his friends, gardening and working on cars.

Survivors include his wife, Doris Letson Cross; sons, Carson Cross (Rosalie) and Rick Cross (Pam); daughter, Tonya Cross Myers; six grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; 11 great-great grandchildren; brother, Echols Cross; and several nieces and nephews.

Andy was preceded in death by his parents, Fernando and Bertha Parker Cross; brothers, Elliott Cross and Gordon Cross; and sister, Eunice Cross.

The family extends special thanks to everyone who helped care for Andy, especially Danielle and the staff at NHC.
