Ann White

Ann Coffey White, 73, of Moulton passed away Friday, April 8, 2022 at UAB Hospital. Visitation will be from 1 till 3 p.m. on Tuesday, April 12 at Moulton Church of Christ. The funeral service will follow at 3 pm at the church with her son, Andy White and Brad McNutt officiating. Burial will be in Moulton Memory Gardens with Lawrence Funeral Home directing.

Born on August 23, 1948 to the late Charlie and Ezma Coffey, Ann was a member of Moulton Church of Christ where she used her God-given talents to implement the Card Ministry, and to serve those who were hurting and in need. She spent countless hours creating cards that she shared with our military personnel serving overseas as well as local neighbors. Known as the “Queen of Canning”, she never let any of Teddy’s vegetables go to waste and shared the fruits of her labors with anyone who needed them. Ann also loved spring flowers and spending time with her friends and family, especially her children and grandchildren. She never met a stranger, loved visiting with people and traveling.

Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Teddy White; daughter, Mindy White Conquest (Billy); son, Andy White (Lindsay); grandchildren, Silas, Will, Sipsey, and Cypress; nephew, Dr. Charles Coffey (Ibby); niece, Lynn Coffey; and cousins and extended family.

Ann was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Laymon Coffey (Barbara).

Pallbearers will be Silas White, Will Conquest, Billy Conquest, Clay Coffey, David Elliott and Dewayne Key. Honorary pallbearers are Clinton Hardin, Jack Burch, Dr. Thomas Moody, and Dr. Charles Coffey.

The family extends special thanks to her doctors and nurses at UAB, especially her nurses Kristen Herring and Breanna Nicholson.
