Annie Faye Parker, 74, of Town Creek, passed away Wednesday, November 13, 2024 at her home. Visitation will be from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Friday, November 15, 2024 at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM at the funeral home with Sis. Melinda Mears officiating. Burial will be at Blackground Cemetery.
Born on March 7, 1950 to the late Charlie and Jesse White Brooks, Faye enjoyed fishing, gardening, bingo and working puzzles.
Survivors include her children, Henry (CeJina) Parker, Patty Mears, and Mary (Kenneth) Wheeler; grandchildren, Joseph (Tiffany) Mears, Justin (Tosha) Mears, Jamie Parker, Ashley (Jared) Grove, Shelby Parker, Whitney Parker, Kalie (Jon) Haney, Tiphanie Wheeler, Hallie Wheeler, Ashley Cooper, Dustin Cooper, and Ava Parker; 22 great-grandchildren; sister, Mattie Pennington; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Faye was preceded in death by her parents; son-in-law, Chigger Mears; brother, William Brooks; and sisters, Margie Thomas, Joan Burney, and Mary Jane Brooks.
Pallbearers will be Joseph Mears, Justin Mears, Jamie Parker, Shelby Parker, Whitney Parker, and Dustin Cooper. Honorary pallbearers are Jaxson Smith, and Logan Mears.
The family extends special thanks to the nurses and staff of North Alabama Hospice.
