Annie White

Annie Lou White, 79, of Florence, passed away Wednesday, October 30, 2024 at Glenwood Rehab Center in Florence. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Friday, November 01, 2024 at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday, November 2, 2024 at the funeral home. Burial will be at Smyrna Cemetery. Immediately following the burial the family will gather at Smyrna church for a time of fellowship.

Annie was born on March 7, 1945 to the late William Clarence and Annie Davis Grissom. She is survived by her children, Peggy (Howard) Thatcher, Mary (Tim) Cottingham, Ricky (Laurie) White, and Johnny (Frances) White; 20 grandchildren; a host of great-grandchildren, brothers, Amos (Vickie) Grissom, and Wilburn Grissom; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Annie was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy White; parents; and daughter, Shirley Cottingham.

Pallbearers will be Joshuah White, Aaron White, A.J. Cottingham, Clint Green, Mercy Green, and Michael Roden.

The family extends special thanks to the nurses and staff of Affinity Hospice and Glenwood Rehab.
