Argean Terry

Argean Terry, 89, of Moulton passed away Friday, November 4, 2022 at Westminster Assisted Living in Decatur. Visitation will be from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM on Monday, November 07, 2022 at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 3:00 PM at the funeral home with Calvin Jones officiating. Burial will be at Midway Memorial Garden.

Born on May 18, 1933 to the late Raymond and Euna Mae Terry, Argean was a member of Sandhill Church for many years. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, cooking and praising her Jesus! Argean also loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Survivors include her sons, Glendale Terry, and Micheal (Cathy) Terry; four grandchildren, and a host of great and great-great grandchildren; sister, Julia Hagood; brother, Atwell Terry; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Argean is preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Carrel Terry; daughter, Felecia Gillespie; parents; brothers, Elijah Terry, and Gidwendle Terry; sisters, Ollavay Moats, Loladean Harville.

Pallbearers will be Jamie Terry, Sabatian Terry, Brandon Burns, Dewayne Thompson, Richard Heflin, and Steve Terry.

The family extends special thanks to Argean's nurses and the staff at Westminster Memory Care as well as Amedisys Hospice and Hospice of North Alabama.
