Ashley Brooke Cornelius, 17 years old, a Junior at Hatton High School passed from this life Monday, November 21, 2016 from injuries sustained in a Motor Vehicle Accident. Visitation will be Friday, November 25, 2016 from 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM at Lawrence Funeral Home with the funeral service following at 2:00 PM in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Hopewell Cemetery, Leighton, Alabama. Pallbearers will be Adrian Jeffreys, Daniel Jeffreys, Tyler Cornelius, Johnathon Donner, Andrew Kimbrough and Corey Cornelius.
Ashley attended the Lawrence County Dream Center.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents: Shirley Mae Stewart Cornelius and Billy Joe Cornelius, Sr.
Survivors include her mother: Crystal Kimbrough Armstead of Fort Hood, Texas, her father: Jeffrey Glenn Cornelius and Brittnee Moore, of Town Creek, Alabama, three brothers: Chris Cornelius, Brycen Cornelius, and Braylen Cornelius all of Town Creek, three sisters: Amber Donner and her husband, Johnathon of Fort Hood, Texas, Gracelynn Wilson and Macie Cornelius both of Town Creek, her grandparents: Steven Kimbrough and Barbara Kimbrough of Double Springs.
