Betty Letson

Betty E. Letson, 86, of Town Creek passed away Sunday, February 20, 2022 at Decatur Morgan Hospital. Visitation will be from 11:30 AM till 1:30 PM on Friday, February 25, 2022 at Lawrence Funeral Home. A Graveside service will follow at Old Bethel Church Cemetery, Courtland, Alabama at 2:00 PM. Burial will be in Old Bethel Cemetery, Courtland.

Born June 24, 1935, Betty was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother, sister and friend.

Survivors include her four sons; Billy Letson (Debi), Oneal Letson, Donald Letson, and Shelby Letson (Candy), three sisters; Shirley Sutton, Missy Jones (Mark) and Dale Benson, two brothers; Jerry Henson (Dorothy) and Walter Benson, host of grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband; Billy G. Letson, two sons; Eddie Letson and Randy Letson, two daughters; Libby Stafford and Judy Travis, and several brothers and sisters, two granddaughters; Taylor Letson and Morgan Letson and her grandson; Chad Letson.

Pallbearers will be Tommy Stafford, Chuck Stafford, Howard Letson, Shelby Letson Jr., Dylan Letson, Cody Letson, Billy Letson Jr. and Doug Letson.

The family extends special thanks to Tammy Dawson Bogle, Joyce Dawson, Lisa and Danny Kerby, Carmen Eskew and for everyone for all of your thoughts and prayers.
