Betty Sisco

Betty Sue Wright Sisco, age 84, Hatton, passed away on Saturday, February 8, 2025. Visitation will be held on Monday, February 17, from 1:30 to 2:30 pm at Lawrence Funeral Home in Moulton. A graveside service will follow at 3:00 pm at Providence Baptist Church, 6804 Co Rd 136 Town Creek AL with Reverend Larry Crompton officiating.

Betty was born December 28, 1940, in Lawrence County, Alabama. She graduated from Hatton High School. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Gladys Wright, and brothers, Gary and Donald Wright.

Betty is survived by her husband, Benjamin "Benny" Sisco; sons, Charles Keith Terry (Dana Long-Terry), Barry Keith Sisco (Sheila Watson Sisco); daughter Cheryl Ann Sisco Williams (Mike Williams); granddaughters: Lauren Terry Feuillard (Robert), Carly Miller (Phillip), Kayce Carmouche (Marcus), Emily Jo Burks (Jordan), and Ashley Barber (Derrick); great-grandchildren, Lorrie Clayton Feuillard, Hadley Jo Burks, Baylor Burks, Kace Burks, Sloan Miller, Katy Carmouche, Nathan Matthews, Blyss Barber; special niece Chrissy Gillespie; and brothers; JT Wright and Pete Wright.

Betty was employed by Alabama Land Company and retired from Regions Bank in Florence, Alabama.

In addition to her family, Betty leaves many friends whose lives she enriched with her sense of humor and fun-loving nature. She was a devoted friend and loving mother who was always there to offer some coffee or a piece of pie. She loved God, music, and her husband, Benny, to whom she had been married for 48.5 years.
