Billie Morgan

Billie Jo Morgan, 91, of Hillsboro, Alabama passed away Monday, November 6, 2023, at Lakeland Community Hospital in Haleyville, AL. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Thursday, November 09, 2023, at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 12:00 PM on Thursday, November 9, 2023, at Lawrence Funeral Home with Bro. Scott Delashaw officiating. Burial will be at Chalybeate Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.

Born on May 25, 1932, to Bill and Saddie Goodwin Voss. Billie was a member of Smyrna Baptist Church for 45 years.

Survivors include her son, Michael Morgan, of Hillsboro, Vanessa Stricklin (Rickey), of Hillsboro; six grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Billie was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Morgan; parents, Bill and Saddie Goodwin Voss; son, Delayne Morgan; three brothers, George Voss, LB Voss, and Goodwin Voss; one grandson, Joeseph Stricklin; and one granddaughter, Christy Morgan.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
