Billy White

Billy E. White, 86, of Moulton passed away Monday, March 5, 2018 at Summerford Nursing Home in Falkville. Visitation will be from 12 till 2 p.m. on Thursday, March 8, 2018 at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Ron Manly and Larry Davis officiating. Burial will be in Owen Chapel Cemetery.

A member of Owen Chapel Baptist Church, Billy taught Sunday School and was an Ordained Deacon for 40 years. His hobbies were wood carving and building projects with his brother.

Survivors include his children, Billy Wayne White (Patsy), Ronnie White (JoAnne), Kathy LouAllen (Randall), Gary White, and Tyron White (Delene); 14 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren; brothers, Gay White and Teddy White; and sisters, Jenny Rae Johnson and Gail Manly.

Billy was preceded in death by his wife, Frances Hood White; son, Freddie Gene White; parents, Byron and Ora Roberts White; brothers, Gene White and Byron White, Jr.

Pallbearers will be grandsons, Rodney White, Freddie White, Joshua White, Heath Reed, Micah Reed, and cousin, Ronnie White.

In lieu of flowers, Billy’s family requests memorials be made to the Summerford Nursing Home, West Haven Activity Department, 4087 Highway 31 SW, Falkville, AL 35622-6319.
