Bobby Eugene Borden Jr., 59, of Town Creek, Alabama passed away Saturday, January 27, 2024, at Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City, OK. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM on Sunday, February 4, 2024, at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 5:00 PM on Sunday, February 4, 2024, at Lawrence Funeral Home.
Born on October 13, 1964, to Bobby and Patricia Borden, Bobby was a member of Hatton and Loyd O. Glenn Masonic lodges. He was a Past Master and Past District Lecturer. He was also a founding member of The Brethren Chapter of the Alabama Widows Sons. Bobby enjoyed riding Harley Davidsons, spending time at Smith Lake, and above all Bobby enjoyed spending time with his boys, Will and Oliver. Beercan would also want you all to know that he thoroughly enjoyed being right about everything.
Survivors include his wife of 18 years, Terrica Borden; one daughter, Amber Borden-Griffin (Tim); step-children, Dustin Patterson (Stephanie) and Maven Patterson; two grandchildren, William Griffin and Oliver Griffin; two nieces, Ashton Pitt and Summer Terry (Trent); special brother-in-law, Steve Dunn, special sister -in-law, Wenona "#2" Ricketts; and extended family.
Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, Bobby Borden Sr. and Patricia Borden; one sister, Patrice Pitt.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Charlie Borden, Waylon Borden, members of Hatton Masonic Lodge # 879, Loyd O. Glenn Masonic lodge #6, and members of The Brethren Chapter of the Alabama Widows Sons.
The family extends special thanks to the nurses and staff at Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Brethren Chapter of the Alabama Widow Sons for local charities in Bobby's honor. Donations may be mailed to 353 Briarwood Drive, Killen, Al, 35645.
