Bonnie Harnden

Bonnie Jean Stanley Harnden, 101, of Mount Hope, Alabama passed away Monday, March 10, 2025, at her residence. Visitation will be from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM on Friday, March 14, 2025, at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 10:30 AM on Friday, March 14, 2025, at Lawrence Funeral Home with Brian Mouser officiating. Burial will be at Mount Hope Methodist Cemetery in Mount Hope.

Born on June 28, 1923, and raised in White City, Alabama, Ms. Bonnie was a member of Rock Springs Presbyterian Church and loved spending time with her friends at the Mount Hope Nutrition Center.

Survivors include her children, Susan Stanley Steele (Marvin) and William O. "Bill" Stanley, Jr. (Tonyah); Grandson, Brandon Ray Steele (Beth); two precious great grandchildren, Grian and Finn Steele; and her granddogs; Buddy and Puddles.

Pallbearers will be James Dodd, George Ponder, Delane Ponder, William O. "Bill" Stanley, Jr., Brandon Steele, and Marvin Steele.

Honorary Pallbearers are Fredrick Burks and Danny Porter.

The family extends special thanks to Alabama Hospice of the Shoals for their superb care, especially her Nurse, Kandice Lauderdale who became a part of our family through her loving care over the past 10 months.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mount Hope Nutrition Center, in memory of Ms. Bonnie.
