Bruce Moats

Bruce Moats, 54, of Moulton passed away Saturday, July 3, 2021 at his home. Visitation will be from 12 till 2 p.m. on Wednesday, July 7 at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with Atwell Terry officiating. Burial will be in Moulton Memory Gardens.

Born on March 16, 1967 to Oneal and Ollie Vaye Moats, Bruce enjoyed fishing and playing with his grandkids and spending time with his family.

Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Denise Moats; son, Christopher Moats (Hailey Oliver, girlfriend); daughter, Amanda Haddan (Brian); grandchildren, Dustin Avery Jones, Lane Keith Haddan, Reni Sherrill, and Braxton Gibson; and numerous other extended family members.

Bruce was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents, George Kyle and Rena Moats and Raymon and Euna Mae Terry; son, Dustin Jones; and brother, Joey Heath.

Pallbearers will be Christopher Moats, Dustin Avery, Lawrence Terry, Mark Terry, Tom Jones, and Ray Rampley. Honorary pallbearers are James Moomaw, Brian Haddan, Billy Rampley, Dusty Terry, Lane Haddan, Matthew Toller, and Braxton Gibson.
