Buron Norwood

Buron Elizabeth Terry Norwood, 94 years of age of Moulton passed away Friday, August 23, 2019 at NHC Healthcare. Visitation will be from 1:00 PM till 2:00 PM on Sunday, August 25,2019 at Lawrence Funeral Home with Bro. Sam Waddell and Jimmy Glenn officiating. The funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Sunday, August 25, 2019 at Lawrence Funeral Home. Burial will be in Jones Chapel Cemetery.

Mrs. Norwood was a member of Mt. Moriah United Methodist Church and loved gospel music.

Survivors include her sister; Bernice Owens of Decatur and her brother; Charles B. Terry of Bowling Green, Kentucky, several nieces and nephews including guardians; Barbara Glenn and Glenda Thompson.

She was preceded in death by her husband; Robert Norwood, her parents; Sherman and Della Mardis Terry, five sisters; Audrey Speake, Alder Terry, Ertha Terry, Berlin Terry and Edna Dean Terry and two brothers; Sherman Terry Jr. and Billy D. Terry.

Pallbearers will be Lowell Thompson, James Glenn, Roger Terry, Franklin Terry, Weston Terry and Todd Thompson.

The family extends special thanks to the nursing staff of NHC Healthcare.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mt. Moriah United Methodist Church.
