Carl Welborn

Carl Harrison Welborn, 83, of Hillsboro passed away Monday, June 3, 2019 at his residence. Visitation will be from 6:00 Pm till 8:00 PM on Tuesday, June 4, 2019 at Lawrence Funeral Home, Moulton AL. The funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Wendesday, Jun 5, 2019 in the chapel with O.D. Bowling, Ray McWhorter and Tony Mullican officiating. Burial will be in Alridge Grove Cemetery.

Survivors include his wife Edith Welborn, son Rance Welborn (Stephanie), daughter Shannon Collier (Oneal),six grandchildren Whitney Hall(Nathan), Halle Welborn, Collin Rutherford, Chloe Welborn, Caden Lee, and Brooks Lee, two great-grandchildren Levi Hall and Braxton Hall, one sister Gayle Dodson (Charles).

He was preceded in death by his mother Nola Welborn.

Pallbearers will be Michael Logston, Matthew Graves, K.E. Streater, Andy Mullican, Arlin Mullican, Stacy Mullican, and Murphy Mullican. Honorary Pallbearers Jack Gilllum and Randy Mullican.

The family extends special thanks to Dr. Steve Harbin, CCU & 3 rd floor staff of Decatur Morgan Hospital, and Hospice of North Alabama.
