Carolyn Borden Wimbs, 67 years old of Danville passed from this life, Thursday, May 4, 2017 at her residence.
Visitation will be Sunday, May 7, 2017 from 1:00 - 3:00 PM at Lawrence Funeral Home with the funeral following
at 3:00 PM in Lawrence Funeral Home Chapel with Steve Bradford officiating. Burial will be at Enmond Fields Cemetery in Addison, Alabama.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her husband: Lloyd Wimbs, her parents: Evilie Borden and Mandie Lane Borden, two grandsons: Brady Douglas and Cory Atkins, one great grandson: Wyatt Swims, three brothers: Kenneth Borden, Alton Borden and J.C. Borden and one sister: Bettie Craig.
She is survived by one son: Liles Wimbs and his wife, Trish of Danville, three daughters: Becky Wimbs of Addison and Sherry Sawyer and her husband, David of Lynn and Lisa Douglas and Adam of Danville, two sisters: Faye Berryman and Sybil Jones, four grandsons: Nicholas Atkins, Blake Adams, Connor Douglas and Josh Hendrix, four granddaughters: Faith Adams, Whitney Atkins, Logan Douglas and Sarah Hendrix and one great grandson: Carter Swims.
Pallbearers will be: Jesse Terry, David Sawyer, Nicholas Atkins, Decarlos Morning, Brandon Wimbs. Donnie Craig and Chase Butler.
