Charles Collins

Charles Wayne Collins, 80, of Moulton passed away Monday, April 8, 2024 at North Alabama Medical Center in Florence. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Wednesday, April 10, 2024 at Cornerstone Church. The funeral service will follow at 12:00 PM at the church with Pastor Tony Collins and Pastor Jeff Collins officiating. Burial will be at Moulton Memory Gardens.

Born on August 20, 1943 to the late Odis and Vivian Childers Collins, Wayne was a member of Cornerstone Church. He loved fishing, but his greatest enjoyment was playing with his grandkids and keeping the grass cut at Cornerstone Church.

Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Kathleen Collins; sons, Tony (Tara) Collins, and Jeffrey (Sissy) Collins; eight grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; sisters, Linda (Steve) Royer, Sandra (Bobby) McCormick, Rita (Don) Simms, and Lisa Gaddy; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Wayne was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Marshell Hutto White; sister, Wanda Rutherford; and daughter-in-law, Sonya Collins.

Pallbearers will be A J Smith, Noah England, Sean Boyll, Hunter Sparks, Micah Hughes, Elijah McAbee, Klay Collins, and Josh Cross. Honorary pallbearers are Shane Davis, Kevin Jackson, and Jaxson Gilchrist.
