Charles Dawson

Charles T. "Bill" Dawson, 80, of Wolf Springs passed away Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at his home. Visitation will be from 5 till 7 p.m. on Friday, August 31, 2018 at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, September 1, 2018 at the funeral home with Bro. Dan Compton and Bro. Terry Tubbs officiating. Burial will be in King Cemetery.

Bill owned several construction companies including C&D Corporation.

Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Ruth Dawson; children, Joy Byars (George), Tony Dawson, Lisa Parrish, and Doris Fuller; siblings, Dr. Jean Love, Joyce Mitchell (Billy), Clyde Dawson (Audrey), Virginia McMillan (Frankie), and Peggy E. Dawson; grandchildren, Cedric Dawson (Whitney) , Tyrel Byars, Kesha Hobbs (Jonas), Ashley White (Justin Berryman), Brex Fuller (Hannah), Tama Dawson, Maleah Fuller; five great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Lizzie Cole Dawson; brothers, Kenneth “Jake” and Paul “Buddy”; and grandson, Duston White.

Pallbearers will be Vernon Parker, Kennard Little, Darin Jackson, Jay Musgrove, Kenneth Dawson, and Robert Davis.
