Donald “Chigger” Mears, 51, of Town Creek passed away Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at his home. Visitation will be from 6 till 8 p.m. on Thursday, June 15, 2017 at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home with Melinda Mears officiating. Burial will be in Ferguson Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Patty Mears; sons, Justin Mears (Tosha) and Joseph Mears (Tiffany); brothers, Robert Mears (Melinda) and Thomas Mears (Brenda); sisters, Charlotte Mears (Mike) Wanda Suit (Tommy) and Tonya Hill (Willie); and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, RC and Betty Sue Mears.
Pallbearers will be Willie Hill, Henry Parker, Todd Berryman, Melvin Castle, Wade Brooks, and BJ Cook.
