Clara Mae Smith Abbott, 87, of Moulton passed away Thursday, September 15, 2016 at ECM Hospital. Visitation will be from to 2:00 till 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 17, 2016 at Lawrence Funeral Home, Moulton, Alabama. The funeral service will follow at 4:00 p.m. with Wayne Dotson officiating. Burial will be in Moulton Memory Gardens.
Survivors include her grandsons, Jimmy Hood of Moulton, Donald Etheredge, Scotty Abbott and Jeff Etheredge (Gloria) all of Town Creek; granddaughters, Cassie Webster (Ernie) of Michigan, and Angie Cooper (Jimmy) of Moulton; 16 Great Grandchildren; 12 Great Great Grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dewrell Abbott; son, Larry Abbott; daughters, Frances Etheredge and Shelby Jean Hood; parents, Floyd and Annie Lee Sibley Smith; granddaughter, Tina Turner; and great grandson, Thomas Turner.
Pallbearers will be Ryan Hill, Zack Etheredge, Ryan Headrick, Corey Headrick, CJ Cooper, and Jimmy Cooper.
