Go Rest High On That Mountain, Danny D. Appleton Sr. of Hickory Grove went to be with his Lord and Savior on November 16, 2019. Leaving behind his wife of Fifty four years; Shirley Key Appleton, a son; Danny D. Appleton Jr., a daughter; Michele Robertson (Jason), a granddaughter; Madison Grace Robertson (Bailey Sims), a grandson; Clay Christopher Robertson, a brother; Johnny Appleton (Anita) and a sister; Martha Nell Prince (Dan).

Visitation will be from 6:00 PM till 8:00 PM on Tuesday, November 19, 2019 at Lawrence Funeral Home. The graveside funeral service will be at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, November 20, 2019 at Rock Springs Cemetery. Burial will be in Rock Springs Cemetery.

Mr. Appleton never met a stranger and had a big heart. He was always willing to help anyone in need. He loved farming, his cows, fishing and spending time with his family and friends. Mr. Appleton loved spending time with his grandkids, teaching them how to drive, cook and about life in general.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Elmer and Mildred Appleton, a brother; Bruce Reeder and one sister; Darlene Chenault.

Pallbearers will be Clay Robertson, Conley Bush, Todd Garrison, Kenny Garrison, Rickey Appleton and Chase Elkins.

The family extends special thanks to Kenny, Becky, Riley, Mallory, Chad, Lily, Austin, Blaine, Conley, Hospice of the Valley and Dr. Ali Hachem.
