Edwina was an amazing artist in many areas. Whether it was an oil painting, wall mural, pageant dresses, or quilts, she always excelled at making things beautiful. She earned the title "updo queen" for the beautiful formal hairstyles she would give her clients. She was a wonderful homemaker and wife. She loved spending time on the golf course with her husband and her girlfriend group. She loved laughing and wouldn't be caught outside of her home without makeup and every hair in place. She held many titles in life but her greatest title and honor was being a grandmother to her three beautiful granddaughters and her many great grandchildren. She would tell you all about them and their accomplishments if given the time.
Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Michael Brown ; children, Tina (Phil) Hjelm, and Chris (Pam) Brown; three grandchildren, Olivia (Dennis) Woodard, Taylor (Codie) Veillon, Alexis (Nathan) Ladner; nine great-grandchildren, Addison, Lola, Raleigh, Sadie, Charlotte, Lola Kate, Lincoln, Livi, and Link; one brother, Charles Sparks; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Edwina was preceded in death by her parents, Edgar and Annie Sparks; one sister, Sadie Leigh Sparks; and one sister-in-law, Phyllis Sparks.
