Dianne Aldridge Blackwood, 65, of Moulton passed away Sunday, June 11, 2023, at Decatur Morgan Hospital. Visitation will be from 11:00 am till 1:00 pm on Wednesday, June 14, 2023, at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, June 14, 2023, at Lawrence Funeral Home with Charles Williams officiating. Burial will be in Mount Hope Methodist Church Cemetery. Born on May 5, 1958, to Rufe "Buddy" and Sara Free Aldridge, Dianne enjoyed riding around with her husband Rayburn and spending time with her family. Dianne was a member of Oak Grove Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband of 46 years, Rayburn Blackwood; two brothers, Thomas Aldridge (Barbara) and Roger Aldridge (Anita); one sister, Mary Helen Spears (AL); and several nieces and nephews and extended family members.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Rufe "Buddy" and Sara Free Aldridge; two brothers, Ted Aldridge and Robert Aldridge.
Pallbearers will be Tim Knight, Dylan Campbell, Rodney Cameron, Gene Murphy, Joel Murphy, and Kenneth Hanvey.
The family extends special thanks to Decatur Morgan Hospital.
