Dillard Tidwell

Dillard Tidwell, 75, of Town Creek, passed away Saturday, May 25, 2024 at his home. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Friday, May 31, 2024 at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 12:00 PM at the funeral home with Jazmine Godwin and Rev. Mark Milwee officiating. Burial will be at Moulton Memory Gardens.

Born on July 14, 1948 to the late Travis and Christine Beaver Tidwell, Dillard attended Hazlewood School and loved to watch Alabama football - Roll Tide!

Survivors include his children, Dillarie "Nikki" Johnson and Justin Tidwell; grandchildren, Micah (Mallory) Johnson, Lacey Johnson, and Jazmine Godwin; great-grandchildren, Kingston Johnson, Kobe Johnson, Rhett and Vivi Borden; sisters, Wannette (David) White, Tina Helton, Kelly (Steve) Mitchell, and Olivia Campbell; brothers, Jerry Dale (Linda Sue) Tidwell, and G W (Janet) Tidwell; sister-in-law, Shelby Tidwell; and a host nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Dillard was preceded in death by his wife of 40 years, Marsha Tidwell; parents; and twin brother, Hillard Tidwell.

Pallbearers will be Johnny Tidwell, Chris Simms, Heath Mayes, Steve Mitchell, Jason Borden, and Straten Allen.
