Dock Flannagin, 77, of Moulton passed away Saturday, November 7, 2020 at his home. Visitation will be from 6 till 8 p.m. on Tuesday, November 10 at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, November 11 at the funeral home with Shane Williams and Charles Williams officiating. Burial will be in Midway Memorial Gardens.
Born on March 4, 1943 to the late Albert and Dolly Flannagin, Dock enjoyed working with mules and wagons and watching Westerns.
Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Sue Flannagin; children, Rebecca Holloway (Travis), Balinda Williams (Shane), Ricky Flannagin, Ronnie Flannagin (Felicia), and Bonnie Johnson (Jason); grandchildren, Johnathan Wallace, Lindsey Flannagin, Bailey Johnson, Nathan Williams, Logan Flannagin, and Alicia Hollaway; brother, David Flannagin; sister, Shirley Vess (Ray); and a host of nieces and nephews.
Dock was preceded in death by his parents; twin sons, Danny and Donnie Flannagin; sisters, Merlene Little, Lorene Hood, Marie Dover, Pauline Culver, Eloise Sims, and Bitty Anna Hodge; and son-in-law, Chris Johnson.
Pallbearers will be Bailey Johnson, Nathan Williams, Logan Flannagin, Tharol Vess, Steven Little, and Roger Dale Culver. Honorary pallbearers are Phillip Hodge and Jamie Flannagin.
The family extends special thanks to the nurses and staff at Comfort Care Hospice and all of Dock’s family and friends.
