Donnie Ratliff

Donnie Larue Ratliff, 62, of Courtland, Alabama passed away Saturday, January 20, 2024, at his residence surrounded by his loved ones. Visitation will be from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Thursday, January 25, 2024,at Corinth Missionary Baptist Church. The funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Thursday, January 25, 2024, at Corinth Missionary Baptist Church with Larry Dyar and Keith Terry officiating. Burial will be at Corinth Missionary Baptist Cemetery.

Born on September 29, 1961, to Price and Eunice Kemp Ratliff, Donnie was a member of Corinth Missionary Baptist Church. Donnie was a heavy equipment mechanic at Kinder Morgan.

Survivors include his wife of 24 years, Brenda Ratliff; two daughters, Ashley Bailey (Ryan) and Linda Blansett; four grandchildren, Madison Bailey, Elizabeth Bailey, Cody Blansett, and Katie Blansett; one brother, David Ratliff (Lu Ann); father-in-law, Fred Richardson; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Donnie was preceded in death by his parents, Price and Eunice Ratliff; son, Donnie Larue "D.J" Ratliff Jr.; mother-in-law, Betty Richardson.

Pallbearers will be Dusty Richardson, Shaun Richardson, Shonn Proctor, Jonathan Corum, Kevan Hutto, and Blake Boston.

Honorary Pallbearers are Austin Richardson, Remington Richardson, Russell Proctor, Parker Richardson, and Wyatt Proctor.

The family extends special thanks to Dr. Gillespie, Dr. Lobo, and the nurses and staff of Hospice of the Valley.
