Doris Smith

Doris Edward Smith, 83, of Danville, Alabama passed away Sunday, May 19, 2024, at his residence. The family will have a celebration of life at later date.

Born on November 8, 1940, to Atwell and Elizabeth Yarbrough Smith, Doris enjoyed fishing, smoking meats, and watching the Alabama Crimson Tide.

Survivors include his wife Lauretta London Smith; five children, Damond (Rebecca) Smith, Pamela London, Sonya Lucas, Melissa Springer, Adam Smith; step-children, Leslie Ergle and Tracy Shelton (Johnny); numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; one sister, Dorothy Smith; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Doris was preceded in death by his parents, Atwell and Elizabeth Smith; two sons, Ricky Smith and Gerald Lynn Smith; daughter, Serina Sharpston; and step daughter, Casey Smith.
