Douglas Little

Douglas "Doug" Ray Little, 60, of Town Creek, Alabama passed away Friday, April 28, 2023, at his residence. Visitation will be from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM on Sunday, April 30, 2023, at Leighton Baptist Church. The funeral service will be at 3:00 PM on Sunday, April 30, 2023, at Leighton Baptist Church with Mark Mayfield and Larry Crumpton officiating and Lawrence Funeral Home directing. Burial will be at Fergason Cemetery in Town Creek, AL.

Born on March 13, 1963, to Neil and Doris Crumpton Little, Doug was saved on April 20, 2013, and became a member of Leighton Baptist Church where he was the video tech. He was very active in his Sunday school class (The Band of Brothers), and was a member of the Church Hostess Committee where he was active at washing the dishes. Doug's favorite pass time was to mow his grass on Thursday, not a day late or not a day before, but above all spending time with his grandchildren was his favorite thing to do.

Survivors include his wife of 42 years Dawn Little; three sons, Chad Little, Casey Little (Whitley), Dylan Little (Sarah Beth); six grandchildren, Keeton Little, Ellie Little, Makena Little, Maybree Little, Denton Little, and Maverick Little; sisters, Sheila Little and Benita Key; brothers; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Doug was preceded in death by his parents, Neil and Doris Crumpton Little; two brothers, Ronnie Little and Donnie Little; and brother-in-law, Dwight Key.

Pallbearers will be Dwight Beene's Sunday School Class (The Band of Brothers).

Honorary Pallbearers will be Roger Renfro, Austin Renfro, and Rocky Simpson.
