Floyd Junior Hutto, 71, of Courtland passed away Friday, April 26, 2019 at his home. Visitation will be from 4 till 7 p.m. on Sunday, April 28, 2019 at First Apostolic Church in Trinity. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Monday, April 29, 2019 at the church with Rev. Freddie Shepard officiating. Burial will be in East Lawrence Memory Gardens.
A member of First Apostolic Church, Junior enjoyed hunting and gardening. He was also a founding member of Hubbard and Drake and retired from there in 2014.
Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Betty Letson Hutto; children, Kevan Hutto (Cathleen) of Courtland, Allan Hutto (Lisa) of Moulton, and Kimberly Taunton (Troy) of Ocoee, Florida; grandchildren, Brittany Wood (Jason) of Florence, Wesley Hutto (Katie) of Hartselle, Felicia Terry (Bradley) of Trinity, Larry Valentine (Alyssa) of Moulton, Austin Hutto of Moulton, Brandon Valentine of Moulton, Jeremiah Valentine of Moulton, Whitney Taunton of Ocoee, Florida, Landon Taunton of Ocoee, Florida and Natalie Hutto of Moulton; great-grandchildren, Caitlyn and Emily Wood of Florence, Brody and Baily Simmons of Hartselle, Braxton and Brynlee Hutto and Alora and Ryleigh Valentine all of Moulton and Brooklyn Terry of Trinity; brothers, Don Hutto (Peggy) of Moulton, Kenny Hutto (Annalee) of Moulton, and Phillip Hutto (Tammy) of Courtland; sisters, Kathy Sparks (Dale) of Moulton and Shirley Woody of Hillsboro; and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Odell Corum Hutto, his son, Price Hutto; brothers, Claude Hutto, Price McCoy Hutto, James Hutto, and Jimmy Dale Hutto; and sister, Dorothy Smith.
Pallbearers will be Austin Hutto, Wesley Hutto, Larry Valentine, Jeremiah Valentine, Landon Taunton, and Kenny Haynes. Honorary pallbearers will be Glen Starks, Keith Haynes and Derrick Proctor.
The family extends special thanks to Hospice of the Valley.
