Frances Knighten

Frances Carol Knighten, 71, of Florence passed away Thursday, June 29, 2017 at her residence. Visitation will be from 6 till 8 p.m. on Saturday, July 1, 2017 at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 4:30 p.m. on Sunday, July 2, 2017 at the funeral home with Jeff Tingle officiating. Burial will be in Johnson Chapel Cemetery.
Survivors include her sons, Stanley Knighten, Jeff Knighten, Greg Knighten, and Doug Knighten; and daughter, Melissa Tingle (Jerry) all of Florence; seven grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Hattie Lou Sutton Nicholson; sons, Brian Knighten and Spencer Knighten; brothers, Harold Nicholson, Harlon Nicholson, Hershel Nicholson, and baby brother Nicholson; and sisters, Blanche Bendall, Carolyn Schull and Lynette Kelley.
Pallbearers will be Doug Knighten, Jr., Jeremy Stevenson, Nick Hinton, Michael Burrows, Jeremy Norris, Scott Bendall and Dallas Pullum.
