Gary Lawrimore

Gary Wade Lawrimore, 62, of Mt. Hope passed away Tuesday, May 2, 2023 at his home. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Friday, May 05, 2023 at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 PM at the funeral home with Bro. Mike Jackson officiating. Burial will be at Landersville Cemetery.

Born on October 24, 1960 to James and DeLois Roden Lawrimore, Gary was a graduate of Mount Hope High School. He loved woodworking and could build anything he put his mind to. Gary also enjoyed going out to eat with his kids.

Survivors include his wife Jannis of 10 years; children, Wesley Lawrimore, Bradley Lawrimore, Curtis West, Kelly West, and Shannon West; a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; mother, DeLois Roden Lawrimore; brothers, Delton (Rita) Lawrimore, and Phillip (Lisa) Lawrimore; and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Gary is preceded in death by his father, James Lawrimore.

Pallbearers will be Landon Lawrimore, Boone Lawrimore, Luke Lawrimore, Payton Blankenship, Logan Blankenship, and Michael Pennington. Honorary pallbearers are Randy King, Jackson Lawrimore and Kelly Blankenship.
