Genevie Warhurst

Genevie Roberson Warhurst, 89, of Town Creek passed away Wednesday, November 13, 2019 at NHC Healthcare. Visitation will be from 12:00 PM till 2:00 PM on Friday, November 15, 2019 at Rock Springs Mitchell Memorial Presbyterian Church. The funeral service will be at 2:00 PM following the visitation at Rock Springs Mitchell Memorial Presbyterian Church with Scott Hagood Officiating. Burial will be in Rock Springs Cemetery. Lawrence Funeral Home will be assisting the family.

Genevie retired from Lawrence County Farm Service Agency(ASCS Office) after thirty two years. She was the first female office manager in Lawrence County. She loved to cook, do her gardening, and especially loved her family.

Survivors include her son; Sammy Alexander (Donna), two grandsons; Ashley Alexander(Cherie) and Lucas Spears(Beth), one granddaughter; Meleah Alexander, three great grandsons; Cody Crutcher(Chelsey), Tanner Gillespie, and Aaron Alexander, three great granddaughters; Whitney Alexander, Lily Spears and Madeline Spears, one great great grandson; Bryland Crutcher, two brothers; L.O. Roberson Jr.(Carol Sue) and Bill Roberson.

She was preceded in death by her husband; Owen Warhurst, her parents; Leonard and Ira Roberson, and one sister; Mary Alice Roberson Hagood.

Pallbearers will be; Ashley Alexander, Lucas Spears, Cody Crutcher, Tanner Gillespie, Aaron Alexander, Phillip Roberson and Lynn Hagood.
