Harold Pool

Harold Wayne Pool, 79, of Town Creek, Alabama passed away Friday, July 22, 2022, at North Alabama Medical Center Florence, AL. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Monday, July 25, 2022, at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 1:00 PM on Monday, July 25, 2022, at Lawrence Funeral Home with Chris Miller and Bro. Neil Carter officiating. Burial will be at King Cemetery in Moulton.

Born on November 6, 1942, to William Theodore and Lucille Etheredge Pool, Harold enjoyed hunting and fishing. Mr. Pool was a long-time member of the Masonic Lodge. He was also a member of the Alabama field trial club. Harold enjoyed talking and visiting with his family and friends. He also enjoyed watching the Atlanta Braves, Alabama Football, and Hatton softball games.

Survivors include his wife Martha Hindman Pool of Town Creek; two children, Thomas Lane (Kim) of Town Creek, Jane Lane Massey (Mike) of Russellville; five grandchildren, Mallory Lane, Morgan Lane, Josh Trapp, Drake Trapp, and Brooklyn Massey Nesbitt; six great-grandchildren; special cousin, Brenda Thompson (Don) of Moulton; as close as family, Jenny Fischer; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.

Harold was preceded in death by his parents, William and Lucille Pool.

Pallbearers will be Mike Bradford, Jay Scoggins, Barry Pool, Bradly Pool, Sloan Berryman, Ricky Thompson.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Terry Brewer, Don Bradford, Norman Pool, Willard Ray Dawson, Stevie Kerby, Roger Masterson, Ted Bradford, and Ronnie Masterson.

The family extends special thanks to the doctors and staff of North Alabama Medical Center, Hatton Chruch of Christ, and Lawrence Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of choice in Mr. Pool's honor.
