Harvey Oliver

Harvey Ray Oliver, 89, of Hatton passed away Wednesday, March 30, 2022 at his daughter, Nancy’s Residence. A graveside service will be at 2:00 PM on Saturday, April 2, 2022 at Moulton Memory Gardens with Bro. Gerald Sherrill officiating. Burial will follow.

Born October 4, 1932 to William Thomas and Edna Magdalene Terry Oliver, Harvey was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, son, brother and friend. He was retired from Reynolds as a maintenance man. He loved listening to gospel music and spending time with his family. His door was always open to his family and friends.

Survivors include his children: Harvey Dewayne Oliver (Pam), Anna Trousdale, and Nancy Burden (Stacy), twelve grandchildren: Tyler Trousdale, Taylor Trousdale, Logan Newsom, Devin Newsom, Eric Terry, John Terry, Dustin Terry, Colette Terry, Chassity Terry, Chad Borden, Tiffany Brewer and Sandi Ducote, numerous great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren, three sisters: Ocille Johnson, Syble Brackin Tidwell and Mavis Monk (Larry) and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife of thirty one years; Gloria Hutto Oliver, his parents, one granddaughter; Grace Elizabeth Newsom, four brothers: infant brother; Evelyn Oliver and Lyndom Oliver, Jimmie Oliver and Jerald Oliver, two sisters: Ethyl Horton and Opal Flannigan, two sons: Jackie Terry Jr. and Jeffery Terry.

Pallbearers will be Stacy Burden, Larry Oliver, Logan Newsom, Devin Newsom, Tyler Trousdale and Taylor Trousdale.

The family extends special thanks to Dr. Nick Gillespie and Staff, DCI Moulton Dialysis Center, NHC Healthcare and Greg’s Ambulance Service for taking such good care of our daddy through the years.
