Hazel Mayfield

Hazel Belle "Ninny" Mayfield, 92, of Moulton, passed away Tuesday, August 6, 2024 at Lawrence Medical Center. Her graveside service will be at 2:00 PM on Friday, August 9, 2024 at Old Liberty Cemetery with Gary Ashley officiating and Lawrence Funeral Home directing.

Born on December 29, 1931 to the late Solomon and Reba Norton Oliver, Ninny loved working in her yard. She loved her flower gardens and mowing the grass. Ninny collected bells with a collection of over 2,000 from all over the world. She enjoyed spending time with her family and loved watching her grandchildren and great-grandchildren playing.

Survivors include her children, Rick Oliver, Tim Warren, Linda Warren, Lisa (Phillip) Lawrimore, and Joel (Chyln) Mayfield; grandchildren, Robert Woodard, Ricky (Sara) Oliver, Alicia (Paul Hoffman) Oliver, Jennifer Warren, James (Monica) Anderson, Jessica Warren, Anthony (Stephanie) Poston, Angela (Stefan Sparks) Poston, Dannielle (Ben) McGee, Joshua (Angel) Jacobs, Chelsea Fike, Macy Fike, Duce Mayfield, Ceejaie Mayfield, and Amanda Underwood; 27 great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Hazel was preceded in death by her parents; son, Jerome Warren; brother, James Clifton Oliver; great-grandsons, Bernie Parker IV, and Ian Calhoun; great-granddaughter, Jayla Sutton.

Pallbearers will be Ricky Oliver, Anthony Poston, Stefan Sparks, Ben McGee, Joshua Jacobs, Duce Mayfield, Lucas Parker, and Landon Parker. Honorary pallbearers are Colbin Sutton, Racen Sutton, Thor Galloway, Steven Henderson, Langston Mayfield.
