Irene Calhoun

Irene Hulsey Calhoun, 76, of Moulton passed away Thursday, January 13, 2022 at Huntsville Hospital. The graveside service will be at 11 am on Monday, January 17, 2022 at Union Hill Cemetery with Jackie Hill officiating. Burial will follow in Union Hill Cemetery.

Born on April 30, 1945 to the late Robert and Lettie Mae Hulsey, Irene enjoyed taking care of everyone else and going to yard sales.

Survivors include her son, Ben Calhoun; daughter-in-law, Jessica Calhoun; granddaughter, Kayla Calhoun; great-grandson, Conan Daith Calhoun-Boyles; great-granddaughter, Rhiannon Danielle Johnson; brother, Gerry Hulsey; sisters, Mae Fletcher and Judy Hill; brother-in-law, Gaines Hill; and several nieces, nephews and extended family.

Irene was preceded in death by her parents; twin sister, Lorene Cadle; sisters, Myrtle Smith, and Deborah White; and brothers, Bobby Hulsey and Jack Hulsey.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
