J H Terry, 72, of Moulton, passed away Saturday, June 29, 2024 at his home surrounded by his family. Visitation will be from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM on Monday, July 01, 2024 at Lawrence Funeral Home. The graveside service will follow at 2:00 PM at Jones Chapel Cemetery with Rev. David W. Ryan officiating.

Born on January 9, 1952 to the late Oscar Wallace Terry and Elvia Lara Dean Terry Hutto, J H loved fishing, playing chess, playing the guitar and his Tunica trips.

Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Shirley Terry; sisters, Debbie Shepard, Elvie (John) Proctor, and Beverly (Brent) Bell; brother-in-law, Greg (Carolyn) Harville; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family.

J H was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Bob Terry, Eldon Ray Terry, and Johnny Terry.

Pallbearers will be Farlon Terry, Blake Hill, Austin Terry, Braxton Terry, Wriggins Terry, Mark Terry, Clay Terry, and Dewayne Terry.

The family extends special thanks to the nurses and staff of Affinity Hospice along with Loretta Ryan and Kristy Terry.
