James "Renay" Saint

James "Renay" Saint, 76, of Moulton, Alabama passed away Wednesday, September 13, 2023, at Huntsville Hospital surrounded by his family. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Saturday, September 16, 2023, at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 1:00 PM on Saturday, September 16, 2023, at Lawrence Funeral Home with Glenn Boman and Kevin Saint officiating. Burial will be at Moulton Memory Gardens.

Born on April 29, 1947, to R.C. and Mary Commander Saint, Renay was a bi-vocational pastor at Old Bethel Church. He was the Code Enforcement Official for the city of Moulton for 5 years. Renay had a 50 year career as a Pipe Fitter. Renay enjoyed camping, talking with any and everybody, and spending time with his family. Around town everyone knew him as Renay, but most importantly he was Papa.

Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Nancy Saint; two sons, Allen Saint (Deann), Kevin Saint (Alison); grandchildren, Meghan Wilson, Sally Kate Saint, Emily Saint, and Kaleigh Saint; one great-grandchild, Luna Strickland; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family.

James was preceded in death by his parents, R.C. and Mary Saint; one brother, Farrell Saint.

Pallbearers will be Russell Graham, Craig Knight, Roger Weatherwax, Casey Baker, Jake Stoltzfus, Jay Stoltzfus, Cary Commander, and Marvin Jackson.

Honorary Pallbearer's are Bud Gamble and Jimmy Terry.

The family extends special thanks to nurses and staff of the ICU at Huntsville Hospital, and their church family and friends for there love and support.
