Jan Watkins-Mears

Jan Lenise Watkins-Mears, 59, of Danville, Alabama passed away Saturday, October 7, 2023. The graveside service will be at 12:00 PM on Wednesday, October 11, 2023, at Moulton Memory Gardens with Lawrence Funeral Home directing.

Born on March 8, 1964, to Winzloe Watkins and Shirley Johnson Frost, Jan enjoyed going to the beach with her family, watching Paxton play sports, and watching Fox News. Jan would want all of you to vote for Trump 2024.

Survivors include her two daughters, Jill King (Ben) and Jessica Carter; grandchildren, Paxton King and Payton King; one sister, Cynthia Rasnick; one brother, Scotty Watkins; ex-husband, Marty Mears; and several nephews and extended family members.

Jan was preceded in death by her father, Winzloe Watkins; mother and step-father, Shirley and Curtis Frost; one brother, Phillip Watkins.

Pallbearers will be Ben King, Guy Crosslin, Bradley Terry, Rodney Johnson, Stephen Johnson, and Chase "Taco" Barrett.

Honorary Pallbearers are Scotty Watkins, Marty Mears, and Paxton King.
