Jane Smith

Jane Smith, 77, of Moulton passed away Thursday, February 06, 2020 at her daughter’s residence. Visitation will be from 2:00 PM till 4:00 PM on Sunday, February 9, 2020 at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 4:00 PM on Sunday, February 9, 2020 at Lawrence Funeral Home Chapel with O.D. Bowling and Calvin Jones officiating. Burial will be in Jones Chapel Cemetery.

Jane was a loving, caring Christian mother and grandmother. She loved being outside working in her yard, flowers and was a great cook. Jane always put others before herself. To know Jane you loved her.

Survivors include her son: Scott Smith, three daughters; Debbie Sutton, Judy Owens (Anthony) and Angela Hill (Bryan), one sister; Sue Blankenship, four grandchildren; Justin Owens, Taylor Jeffreys, Gabriel Sutton and April Lawless, nine great grandchildren; Kaylie Owens, Cullen Owens, Eliza Jane Retherford, Parker Sutton, Will Sutton, Emma Sutton, Dylan Oliver, Gatlin Oliver and Lily Gillespie and two nieces; Laura Walker and Dawn Brown.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years; Jackie Smith, her parents;Rudolph and Beatrice Tubb, one son-n-law; Kyle Sutton.

Pallbearers will be Bryan Hill, Anthony Owens, Justin Owens, Will Sutton, Ben Retherford, Parker Sutton. The Honorary Pallbearer is Cullen Owens.

The family extends special thanks to Jane’s Care-giver; Jessica Hale, Hospice of the Valley and all who showed love and care during Jane’s time of need.
