Jennie Mclemore

Jennie Diane McLemore, 65, of Town Creek passed away Sunday, July 10, 2022 at North Alabama Medical Center in Florence. Visitation will be from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, July 14, 2022 at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 12:00 PM on Friday, July 15, 2022 at Lawrence Funeral Home with Marvin Huckaba officiating. Burial will be at West Lawrence Memorial Gardens in Town Creek.

Born on December 6, 1956 to Delmer and Reba Long Huckaba, Jennie was a member of Time of Harvest Church in Hatton. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family.

Survivors include her daughters, Tracy Cox (Pat), and April Hobbs (Jonas); grandchildren, Karlie (Mickey), Carson, Sydney (Gil), Kaylee (Hunter), Hunter (Kaelyn), and Belle (Jacob); eight great-grandchildren; father, Delmer Huckaba; sister, Darlene Crowden; brother, Marvin Huckaba (Brenda); and several nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Jennie is preceded in death by her husband, Steven McLemore; and mother, Reba Long Huckaba.

Pallbearers will be her grandchildren.

The family extends special thanks to North Alabama Medical Center 2nd Floor ICU nurses and Davita of Sheffield.
