Jerius Wallace

Jerius Sebastian Wallace, 81, of Moulton, Alabama passed away Sunday, March 26, 2023, at Parkridge Medical Center in Chattanooga, TN. Visitation will be from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, March 29, 2023, at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Thursday, March 30, 2023, at Liberty United Methodist Church with Lynn Terry and Carl Evans officiating. Burial will be at Moulton Memory Gardens in Moulton, AL.

Born on October 13, 1941, to Willard and Chlista Smith Wallace, Jerius enjoyed hunting, fishing, building bird boxes for the community, trading knives at Wren Grocery, and watching the Alabama Crimson Tide. Above all Jerius's favorite pass time was spending time with his grandchildren.

Survivors include his spouse of 61 years, Daphine Mote Wallace; two sons, Brandon Wallace (Lisa), Sheldon Wallace (Lisa); grandchildren, Colby Wallace (Delaine), Easton Wallace, Shelby Wallace, Sarah Wallace, and John Wallace; one sister, Peggye Jinks; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family.


Jerius was preceded in death by his parents, Willard and Chlista Smith Wallace; one grandson, Drake Wallace; one brother, Waymon Wallace; and one sister, Vicki Blankenship.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
