Jerry Calhoun

Jerry Don Calhoun, 55, of Mount Hope, Alabama passed away Thursday, February 1, 2024 at Russellville Hospital. Visitation will be from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Monday, February 05, 2024, at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Monday, February 5, 2024, at Lawrence Funeral Home with Pastor Linda Smith and Rev. Jerry Cameron officiating. Burial will be at Fergason Cemetery.

Born on May 27, 1968, to John and Katherine Watson Calhoun, Jerry was an avid Alabama Football fan.

Survivors include his mother, Katherine Watson Calhoun; one sister, Patsy Darlene Downer; one brother, Wayne Calhoun; three nephews, Josh Calhoun, Chris Calhoun, and Adam Calhoun; and extended family members.

Jerry was preceded in death by his father, John Calhoun; three brothers, Donnie Calhoun, Shane Calhoun, and Kenneth Calhoun.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.

The family extends special thanks to the nurses and staff at Russellville Hospital.
