Jo Latham

Jo Anne Latham, 76, of Moulton passed away Tuesday, July 25, 2023 at Burns Nursing and Rehab in Russellville. Visitation will be from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM on Saturday, July 29, 2023 at Mt. Hope Baptist Church. The funeral service will follow at 3:00 PM at the church with Bro. Truman Sutton officiating. Burial will be at Mount Hope Methodist Cemetery.

Born on January 17, 1947 to the late Tharol and Audrey Blankenship Smith, Jo was a proud mother and grandmother who cherished her time with her family. She loved going to the Mount Hope Senior Center and visiting with her friends in the Mount Hope area. In her lifetime, Jo was a member of Mount Hope Baptist Church and also attended the Cowboy Church of Colbert County.

Survivors include her children, Tad (Angela) Hazle, David (Wendy) Hazle, Lori Anne (Scott) Roberts, and Michael (Becky) Latham; grandchildren, Amber Warren, Megan Murphree, Matthew Hazle, Hannah Latham, Harley McGuire, and Jessa Latham; great-granddaughter, Ryman Warren; brother, Larry (Jane) Smith; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Pallbearers will be Tad Hazle, David Hazle, Michael Latham, Matthew Hazle, Cody Glasgow, and Ryan Moore. Honorary pallbearers are Johnny Nixon and Jason Smith

The family extends special thanks to the entire staff at Burns Nursing Home for their wonderful care.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
