Joe B. Renegar, 85 years old of Moulton, went home to be with the Lord, Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at his residence.
Visitation will be Friday, April 14, 2017 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Saturday, April 15, 2017 at 2:30 PM at Lawrence Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Steve Agee officiating. Burial and Military Honors will be held at East Lawrence Memorial Gardens following the funeral service.
Mr. Renegar was an Army Veteran of the Korean War, a member of Victory Baptist Church and was retired from Champion Paper Mill.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Vernon Renegar and Sue Baily Renegar, one brother: Fred Renegar and two grandchildren: Bradley LeeAnn Renegar and Tori Tucker.
Mr. Renegar is survived by his wife : Judy Grimes Renegar, two children: Tim Renegar and his wife, Judy and Hollie Miller and her husband, Ricky, eight grandchildren:
Amanda Renegar Adams (Troy), Haley Renegar Kidd (Calvin), Maegan Miller Brown (Kyle), Stratton Miller, Kylie Miller, Kamryn Miller, Loryn Miller, and
Casey Tucker (Morgan), four great grandchildren: Victoria Foreman, Alexandria Adams, Alayna Osborne and Paetyn Brown, three sisters: Roberta Carter, Agnes Taylor, Martha Potts and one brother: Billy Renegar (Elizabeth).
Pallbearers will be Kyle Brown, Dickie Stepp, Troy Adams, Stratton Miller, Johnny Sivley, Heath Montgomery and Dalton Davis.
The family would like to say a special Thank you to Hospice of the Valley, Laurel Jones, Sandra Wright, Gary Owens, Leanna Tucker, Vicki Turrentine, Elizabeth Morris, Jennifer Lord, Marilyn Liles and Chaplain Rich Thompson.
