Joey Stricklin

Joey Lee Stricklin, 52, of Hillsboro, Alabama passed away Wednesday, May 10, 2023, at North Alabama Medical Center in Florence, AL. Visitation will be from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM on Sunday, May 14, 2023, at Old Time Gospel Fellowship. The funeral service will be at 3:00 PM on Sunday, May 14, 2023, at Old Time Gospel Fellowship with Bro. Chris Stricklin officiating. Burial will immediately follow the funeral service at Midway Memorial Gardens in Moulton, Al.

Born on June 10, 1970, to George and Barbara Johnson Stricklin, Joey enjoyed fishing, golfing, and riding his motorcycle. Above all Joey enjoyed going on cruises or going to Disney World with his family.

Survivors include his wife Alisa Stricklin; mother, Barbara Stricklin; five children, Jonathan Hagood, Daniel Smith, Alyssa Smith, Annie Smith, and Kaylee Smith; one sister, Amanda Sweatt (Steven); mother-in-law, Faye Oliver Lemmond (Terry); and several nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Joey was preceded in death by his father, George Stricklin; and two brother, Carlon Don Stricklin and David Jerome Stricklin.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
